Your Path to a Healthier Life
Hello & Welcome!
My name is Chelsea- I am a licensed social worker, holding a Master’s in Social Work and a private independent practice license. Overall I have 10 years experience working in the mental health field, and have been in private practice for the last 2.
I genuinely love my job as a therapist—there’s nothing more fulfilling than helping individuals navigate their challenges and witness their growth. Each session is an opportunity to connect, understand, and support my clients as they embark on their journey toward healing. Being a part of their transformative process inspires me every day, and I’m deeply committed to making a positive impact in their lives. Your story matters, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on this path.
Inside my world
My approach blends empathy with gentle challenges, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I believe in the power of validation and strive to help you uncover your strengths.
Outside of therapy, I have a passion for reading, sports, nurturing my plants, and spending time with my beloved cat and dog. As a parent of two—ages 16 and 10—I find joy and love in the journey, while also practicing patience. I truly understand the unique challenges of raising children and navigating family dynamics.
Whether you're seeking support for yourself or for family-related concerns, I’m here to guide you with compassion and insight. Let's work together to create a fulfilling path forward.

What can I expect in my first session?
In your first session, I will gather information about your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. It’s also a time for you to ask questions and get a feel for the flow of a session.
How long will therapy take?
The duration of therapy varies based on individual needs and goals. Some people may see improvement in a few sessions, while others might engage in longer-term therapy. We will work together to see what is right for you.
How often will I need to attend sessions?
Most clients attend therapy weekly or bi-weekly, but this can be adjusted based on your needs and preferences.
What if I don’t feel comfortable?
Feeling uncomfortable can be part of the process, but it’s important to communicate any discomfort. We will then work to create a safe and supportive environment.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes- as a therapist, I am bound by ethical guidelines to protect your privacy, though there are some exceptions related to safety and legal obligations, which we will discuss at our first meeting.
How do I know if therapy is working?
You may notice changes in your thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. Regularly discussing your progress can help assess whether you're moving toward your goals.
What if I don’t have a specific issue?
Many people seek therapy for general feelings of unease, stress, or a desire for personal growth. Therapy can be beneficial even if you’re not facing a specific problem.
What type of therapy is best for me?
The best type of therapy depends on your individual needs, preferences, and goals. We will explore different approaches and find what works best for you.
What if I’m nervous about starting therapy?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous! Remember that therapy is a safe space for you to express your feelings. Sharing your anxiety can help ease the process.
